Alfreda "Fritzy" Louise Vidrine, 77, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Indiana University Hospital. Fritzy was born to her late parents, Oscar and Marie Coley on April 13, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She loved hoochie dresses, playing solitaire, rich older men, and Colorado Bull Dogs. Fritzy loved anything Elvis Presley. She hosted Thanksgiving get togethers every year, and loved her family time. Fritzy was a very kind, outgoing woman who would do anything for anyone. She was a proud business owner of Fritzy's Place in Iowa.
She is survived by her children, Joey Vidrine (Tammy) of Little Rock, AR, Priscilla Palermo of Lake Charles, Christine Granger (Chris) of Indianapolis, IN, April Palmer (Scott) of Rockwell, NC; along with her grandchildren, Diana, Marcella, Jenna, Alan, Elizabeth, Ashley, Kalum, Christopher, Kelly; and her great grandchildren, Hadley, Riley Grace, Brinley, Charley, and Riley Palmer.
Fritzy is preceded in death by her three brothers, Eugene Coley, Carl Coley, Ronnie Coley; two sisters, Ruth Greene and Bessie Langley; grandson, Joseph Vidrine; and a great granddaughter.
A Celebration of Fritzy's life will be held at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 9:00am, with family and friends sharing a time of memories. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, from 8:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at DeRouen Cemetery in Iowa, with Father John Payne officiating.
