She was born in Branch, Louisiana and lived in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was a member of First Baptist Lake Charles and taught Sunday school in the nursery and children’s department. Mrs. Snyder worked as a sales clerk at Weingartens and was a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Snyder; and her parents, Henry and Zena Davis of Acadia Parish, Louisiana; her two brothers; and her nine sisters. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Dr. John White will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Burial will follow the service at Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh, Louisiana.
