

Bobbie Sue “Omah”, 84, left her earthly home on Oct 10, 2015 lovingly surrounded by her family. She was born to Marion and Eula Mae Landry on August 24, 1931. She became the wife of Dudley LeBert on her 16th birthday. She retired from St. Pat’s as a EEG Tech and became a greeter at Wal-Mart (Nelson Rd.) for 13 yrs. Her greatest joy was her family.
Survivors include Marion “Penny” LeBert (Kathy), Yvonne “De De” LaBove, Jude Yvett Young (Buck), Linda LeBert Corbello (Greg) and brother Marion Landry, Jr. (Poochie). She is survived by eight grandchildren, Robbie LeBert, Seth LeBert, Bridget Syrus, Jaime Irvin, Joshua LaBove, Jacob LaBove, Niki Brown and Jeremy Young. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and several godchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Dudley LeBert, parents, Eula and Marion Landry, son, Robert “Bob” LeBert, son-in-law, Thomas Kilchrist and Fred and Ozite LeBert.
Visitation will be Monday, Oct 12, 2015 from 4:00-9:00pm with a rosary at 6pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. It will resume on Tuesday at 8am until time of service. The funeral mass will be at 11:00 am with Father Jay Alexius officiating at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Consolata Cemetery.
