Brenda Gale Guillory

She was born in Oberlin, and resided in Lake Charles for most of her life. She was a beautician all of her working life and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was very outgoing and loved people. She was also a loving sister, aunt and friend.

Survivors include her brother, Alden R. Guillory and wife, Gloria Dean of Surprise, AZ; sister, Barbara Chaumont and husband, Roderick of Papillion, NE; 3 nieces, Michelle Chaumont (Husband, Tim Johnson) of Richmond, TX, Nicole Chaumont of Papillion, NE, Renée Guillory of Tempe, AZ; 1 great nephew, Damian Johnson of Richmond, TX, as well as numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emra P. Guillory and Mary Lelia Ryder Guillory.

Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. til time of service, with a rosary at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Her funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Rev. Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery.
