Carlo A. LaRocca Jr.

Carlo was an U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and received the following medals; Good Conduct, European, African, and Middle Eastern Campaigns with 3 bronze service stars and WWII Victory.

He was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign War, Moose Lodge and a 32ND Degree Mason of the Masonic Temple.

He was a retired boilermaker for over 30 years with Local 79.

Dad enjoyed hunting, gardening, playing cards and dominoes with family and friends.

Carlo is survived by two daughters, Sandra LaRocca Busby and Linda A. LaRocca; one grand-daughter, Christina (Tina) Johnson; one great-granddaughter, Jamie Johnson Nunez; one great-great-grandson; Grayson Drake Nunez all of Lake Charles; one sister, Anna Jean of Tyler, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents Carlo A. LaRocca Sr. and Angelina Liprie LaRocca; one grandson, Jerry W. Busby III; four sisters, Lena, Frances, Antionette Le Bato, and Katie Rosteet; one brother, Jack LaRocca.

A Memorial service will be held at 5pm, Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will be from 4pm until time of service.
