Chadwick James Cox, 45, passed away on July 17, 2018. He was born in Lake Charles, LA and lived in Westlake, LA. He was a graduate of Westlake High School and worked as a safety technician for Triad Electric National. Chadwick was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church and a member ACTS. He enjoyed rodeoing and bullriding and was an all-around sportsman.
He is survived by his sons, Logan James Cox, Baylen Cox and Gavin Cox all of Lafayette, LA; his mother, Zelda Cox of Westlake; brother, Jason Paul Cox and wife Theresa of Westlake, LA; nieces, Alexis Cox, Morgan Guillory and nephew, Jayce Cox.
Visitation will be at Hixson’s Funeral Home of Lake Charles, Friday, July 20, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Visitation will resume Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 8:00 am until time of service.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Deacon Fred Reed will officiate. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake, LA. Words of comfort can be shared with the family at HixsonFuneralhomes.com.
