Charles Travis Mallet, born on September 13, 1944, in Jennings, Louisiana, passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 81. He was a resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Charles proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves and worked as an auto body repairman until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Mallet and Joyce Lavergne Mallet, and a brother, Jack Mallet.

Charles is survived by his brothers, Jerry Mallet and Carl Mallet both of Lake Charles; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026 at J. E. Hixson Funeral Home in the Chapel of Lilies followed by funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Pousson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
