Daniel Robert Lovett

Daniel was born and has lived in Lake Charles all of his life. He owned and operated Daniel Lovett Bail Bonding, he also owned Michelle’s Flowers with his wife Dixie. He was a life time member of pipe liners local 692, he loved hunting, fishing and drinking coffee with family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them about the outdoors, hunting and supporting them at sporting events. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 51 years of marriage, Dixie Tharp Lovett of Lake Charles, three daughters; Candice Upmeyer and husband John of Moss Bluff, Tressy Bergeron and husband Jason of Lake Charles and Danielle Lovett of Lake Charles., two brothers; Donald Lovett of Westlake and Doc Lovett of Bossier City., three sisters; Dolores Lovett of West Virginia, Delma Wright of Ragley and Debbie Doucet of Westlake., six grandchildren; Nicolas, Mason and Casey Ramirez, Kylie and Kristin Bergeron and Matthew Upmeyer.

Visitation will be Friday, December 19, 2014 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 8:00am until time of service

Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11:00am at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA., Burial will follow immediately after service at Birdnest Cemetery in Gillis, LA.
