where do i start. i loved mr logger he was one of my babies, i would make him jelly he loved it every morning i would stop in and see him talk bout 20 mins to him, he had a great up beat sprit to him. i would make food and bring to work for him to have he loved to eat and his 1am wake up calls for breathing treatments he will always live in my heart..he became part of my family and i wanna thank yall for sharing him with me i greatly miss him and always will i pass infront of his room and my heart breaks but i know hes no longer having problems with his breathing anymore hes watching over all of us i always told him bye love you see u tonite every time i leave in the am from work...again im so sorry for yall loss

Mr. Loger was a good man he was always looking out for the next feller staff and residents he has a very big Hart he was so excited to be our Mardi Gras king for 2019 he loved bingo he would recall the numbers out after I would and when vfw bingo ladies came on Monday's he loved to bake goodies when we did it we had another resident that baked with him and she would say you know what you are doing in the kitchen you clean as you go every time she would see him she would say there is that man that knows what to do in the kitchen y'all are in my prayers your brother is going to be watching over y'all every day he talked about y'all all the time he loved y'all so much GOD BLESS you all

Mr. Loger was one of the greatest men I knew. He always put a smile on my face. I will miss my morning hugs an our morning talks.  Fly high my friend until we meet again Rest in peace. 

It was indeed a wonderful pleasure working with Mr. Loger. He always had encouraging words to brighten my day. Every morning I worked,he would come down the hall or send a message of what he wanted that day for breakfast and lunch. He was a caring generous person. He will be truly missed.

I have been taking care of him at the nursing home off and on since the first day he arrived there. He had a sense of humor that would brighten my day. But my fondest memories are the morning hugs I got everyday. He looked forward to them as much as I did. He was easy to talk to and a joy to be around. Everyday I worked was a memory I will forever cherish. Please Let him know I love him and how much he will be missed. He was an amazing man. Rest In Peace Mr. Loger I will miss you dearly. Sorry I can't be there to say my own farewell to you. As always I will be working.

Celebration of Life

He is survived by his two children, Donnie Loger of South Dakota, Kristy Loger of Sylmar, California; one brother, Leon Jacobson of Texas; two sisters, Shawn Langley, Dawn Loger, both of Lake Charles; numerous grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.  

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Darrell Loger, Doug Loger; along with a sister, Eloise Reis.
