My deepest condolences to all of Derek's family. Derek, you will not be forgotten my friend and I will proudly continue to support LSU, our beloved alma mater, in your honor. Rest easy my friend and until we meet again, Geaux Tigers!

I am so very sorry to hear this news. I enjoyed working with Derek at Marathon, sharing information with him after he left, and the occasional lunch when he was in my area. He will be missed for sure. I have no other words to offer... but I do have prayers for you, Katherine, and your two children.
