She was born on October 15, 1958. Doris was a great daughter, mother and friend. Her favorite past time included, spending time with her dog, Tuxedo. She was a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Jolee Hester of Lake Charles; mother, Rena Mallette of Lake Charles; two brothers, Danny Mallette of Tallahassee, FL and Gerald Mallette of Anacoco, LA; one sister, Juanita Mallette of Lake Charles.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Mallette and both sets of grandparents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at St Margaret's Catholic Church. Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 pm with Rosary at 6pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
