She is survived by her son, Joseph C. Roberts Jr. and wife, Kathy of Kaplan; daughters, Pat Roberts LaFosse and husband, Ronnie Dale of Telferner, TX, Gwen Roberts Broussard and husband, Roger of Pecan Island, LA, Denise Roberts Gullett and husband, Lloyd of Carlyss, LA, Yvonne Roberts Broussard and husband, Randal of Lafayette, LA; sisters, Tee Nunez and husband, Burnell of Longville, LA; 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Roberts Sr.; sons, Jack and Kent as well as her great granddaughter, Macey Grace Meaux.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev. Wallace Primeaux will officiate. Burial will be in First Baptist Church of Cameron Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Monday from 8 a.m. til time of service.
