Edna G. Oliver

She was a lifelong resident of Westlake and was a member of the American Business Women Association where she was featured in the Who’s Who and also a member of First Baptist Church of Westlake. She worked at the Pathology Lab and for Dr. Charles White and Dr. Brooks. Her favorite food was hamburgers.

She is survived by her sons, Eddie Oliver and wife Karen of Westlake and Thomas Oliver and wife Debbie of Lake Charles; daughter, Diann Oliver of Westlake; brothers, Harvey Carlock, Glenn Carlock and wife Jimmie Lee both of Westlake and Eugene Carlock and wife Jane of Sulphur; sister, Inez Dupont and husband Harold of Abita Springs, LA; grandchildren, Jeremy Shane Oliver and wife Brook, Brandie Dartez and husband Joshua, Marsha Palmer and husband Jacob and Mark “Boone” McMillian and wife Fallon; great grandchildren, Alora and Briele Dartez, Hayden and Madison.

Her funeral will be 10am, Tuesday, July 9,2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Rev. Wayne McEntire will officiate. Visitation will begin Monday 5pm-9pm and resume Tuesday 8am until service time.
