Elijah Colton Frank

Elijah Colton Frank passed into the arms of his Savior on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, 12:58pm at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, surrounded by his family. Elijah was just 2 days old. He was baptized at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 before he passed. He weighed in at 10 pounds and 5 ounces, and had suffered from a Heart defect, that resulted in his passing.

He is survived by his mother, Coltranesa Frank of Lake Charles; father Marquis James of Lake Charles; maternal grandparents, Jacqueline Frank and husband Mark Vital, Sr. of Lake Charles; paternal grandmother, Barbara A. James of Lake Charles; along with a host of family and friends.

Elijah is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Colton Frank, II; paternal grandfather, Welton LeCompte; maternal grandparents, Rosalee and Nathan Gaines; paternal grandmother, Ezola Celestine; and paternal grandfather, Simon James.

A Celebration of Elijah's life will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:00am with Apostle Shelly R. Dugas officiating. Visitation will begin on Friday morning, starting at 10:00am until the time of the service. The funeral home is located at 3001 Ryan Street in Lake Charles.
