Eugene Lee Morris

Eugene was born in Alexandria to Richard and Ethel Johnson Morris. He lived in Westlake for over 47 years. Eugene loved fishing, hunting, going to Westlake Basketball games and camping. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he served in many leadership positions.

Eugene was in the Banking industry for 54 years and retired from First Federal Bank of Louisiana. He was also a member of the Westlake Rotary Club.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Morris; sons, Todd Morris of Aubrey, TX, Doug Morris and wife, Deidra of Westlake, Scott Morris and wife, Missy of Ragley and Mark Morris and wife, Mikah of Lake Charles; daughter, Dona Le-Roy and husband, Jeremy of Houston, TX; sister, Sue Wilson of Silver City, NM; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ethel Morris; sons, Terry and Jerry Morris; and his brothers, Herbert Davis and Richard Morris
