Mrs. Johns was born June 14, 1940 in Lake Charles, LA. Most of her life she grew up in Hackberry, LA, where she attended school. She worked for McKenzie Pest Control for 30 plus years. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers. She was a faithful member of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa Johns of Lake Charles, LA and Linda Monceaux and husband Norman; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great grand children.
She is preceded in death by her son, William "Bill" Johns Jr.; and her parents, James Cox and Neva Sanner Murphy.
A graveside service was held at Prien Memorial Park on Thursday Feburary 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
