

He was born on February 6, 1965 in Orange, Texas to
Gus and Mary Herman.
He moved to Sulphur at the age of 10. He was the baby of four children. He
graduated from Sulphur High School in 1983 and began his successful 30
year career with Diamond Paint. He started as a delivery driver and died as
the owner. Harold enjoyed spending time away from work by raising cattle
and cooking, playing washers, and being with his family and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his father, Gus Edward Herman,
Survivors include his wife, Kim Herman; his two sons, Josh and Cade
Herman; mother, Mary Herman; one brother, Bill Herman and wife Mollie;
sister, Punkin Reider and husband Bill; sister, MeMe Espinosa and husband Romeo; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11th 4pm-9pm and it will resume
Sunday until his Celebration of Life service begins at 3pm. Please join us
as we celebrate Harold’s wondrous life at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake
Charles. Anyone wishing to share a brief story, memory, or experience
about Harold is welcome to speak. Donations can be made in lieu of
