Henry (Hank) G. Poole

Hank was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. He was a pool player world champion. For 30+ years he was a member of Billiards Commerce of America and America Pool Players Association. Four times he was the national champion. His team ranked 17th in the nation in the 8 ball championship in 1991.

Those left to cherish his memory are his nephew, Audie Thibodeaux and wife Debbie of Sulphur; three great-nephews, Chris Thibodeaux, Michael Thibodeaux and Jason Reeves all of Sulphur; one great-niece, Stacey Trahan of Lake Charles; one niece-in-law, Anna Ardoin of Welsh and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Eula Poole; one sister, Willie Mae Thibodeaux and one niece, Renee Carpenter.

His Memorial Service will be 2:00pm Saturday, September 14, at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
