Hilda May Ogea

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Ogea Brawley, Andrea Ogea Connelly, and Robin Ogea Bailly; grandchildren, Casey E. Aulds, Ashle Jolie Bailly, and Halia J.M. Aulds; great grandchildren, Caleb Stelly, Madison Stelly, Zeigh Scully, Samantha Long, Richard Sonnier, and Camdyn Burns; great great grandson, Jaxon Dupus; and sister, Helen Stine.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elias Luther "Buddy" Ogea; and grandson, John Caleb Stelly.

Hilda worked at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital and the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office in the tax department.

She enjoyed her jobs and the people she met and worked with. She headed the Arts and Crafts show at the Iowa Mall.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Hixson Funeral Home-Lake Charles on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of services at 1:30 PM. She will be laid to rest at LeBleu Cemetery.
