

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII in occupied Japan. He loved to spend time outdoors hunting and fishing since he was a little boy. He and his wife spent many happy years hunting and fishing together. He loved to spend time with his grandkids and great grandkids.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Clara Jean McClure; daughter, Carolyn "C.J." Long and husband, Glenn of LeBleu Settlement, Deborah Mouton and husband, Dalton of Moss Bluff; brother, James McClure of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Khristina Pankhurst and husband, Jeff of Nowata, OK, Amy M. Young of Columbia, SC, Brandon Mouton and wife, Renee of Moss Bluff, Jeremy Mouton and fiancée, Megan Bourque of Westlake, Dana Dronet and husband, Larry R. of Sulphur; great grandchildren, Cheyenne Young, Austin Paul Mouton and Phillip Mouton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ethel Lou McClure.
His funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev. Frances LaRocque and Rev. Vernon Chevallier will officiate.
