Jeff is survived by his dad, Ray Yerkey; nephew, Alex Yerkey and son, Nathan Ransbottom.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Yerkey and brother, Ray Yerkey.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to begin at 2:00 p.m. Services will take place at Westside Baptist Church (1437 Sutherland Rd. Lake Charles, LA. 70611)
Jeff will be buried next to his mom at Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff.
In Lieu of Flowers, Jeff’s family request contributions be made to Gideons International in honor of Jeff.
