He was a native of Eugene, Oregon and had been a resident of Lake Charles for the last 2 years. He owned and operated a successful heating and air conditioning business for many years. After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling (especially road trips), fishing, riding his motorcycle, mowing the grass, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Eric Greiner and wife, Jenna of Lake Charles, John Paul Greiner and wife, Michelle of Oregon City, Oregon, Joseph Andrew Greiner and wife, Athina of Portland, Oregon, Stephanie Rebecca Roncal and husband, Robert of Portland, Oregon, and Hans Frederick Greiner and wife, Britney of Georgia; and a host of grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Carol Stornetta and Michael Greiner.
