John Sidney Miller, 72, of Lake Charles, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Lake Charles Care Center. He was born to his late parents, Steve and Anna May Miller on February 7, 1949 in Creole, LA. He was a caretaker for his parents for many years, and took pride in helping them.

He is survived by his son, Patrick Miller of Natchitoches, LA; daughter, Tammy Ann Ballard of Natchitoches, LA; one brother, Albert Charles Miller of Lake Charles; along with his grandchildren, Barbara Vercher-Smith, Joseph Vercher-Antee, Mary Vercher-Smith, Wilie Vercher-Antee (Kayla Antee); and great grandson, Josiah Antee.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Anna May Miller.

A Celebration of John's life will be held at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00am, with Msgr. Charles Dubois officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, beginning at 10:00am.
