

She was born in 1945 to Earnest and Virginia Morgan in St. Louis, MO. Judy was married at the age of 18 to Robert Fletcher Moss also of Lake Charles. They were happily married for 25 years until his death in 1989. In 1994, Judy then married her second husband, Franklin Charles Buerger and together they had 23 years of love and laughter.
Judy is survived by her loving husband; Franklin Buerger, sons; Robert Desmond (Blanca) Moss of El Paso, TX and Roger Morgan Moss of Crosby, TX, step-children, Pamela Ann Metzler, Patty Jean (Wayne) Ellis of Magnolia, TX, Frank Elwin (Amber) Buerger also of Magnolia, 13 grandchildren, Noah, Bethanie and Natalie Moss of El Paso, Brandon and Jacob Moss of Dayton, TX Joshua Melton of Houston, Travis (Lisa) Metzler, Ashley and Brittany Metzler of Houston, Jay Wren of Magnolia, Samantha Wren of Austin, Trenton and Tracer Buerger of Magnolia, brothers; Richard and Pat Morgan, sisters; Rose Morgan and Susan Meyer, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Virginia Morgan, first husband, Robert Moss, brothers, Timothy and David Morgan, and sister, Bambi Hebert. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by those who knew her.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 12:00pm with friends gathering from 10:00am until service at Hixson Funeral Home, Lake Charles. Judy was an avid amateur photographer and enjoyed all wildlife. She was also a member of the Washington County Wildlife Society.
