Larry Allen Vail

He was a member of the Farm Bureau and the Calcasieu Cattleman’s Association. He was a lifetime farmer and cattleman. He also served in the National Guard.

He is survived by his son, Mark Brand Vail and wife Christine of Lake Charles; daughters, Marla Diane Aguillard and husband Derek of Lake Charles, and Carolyn Elaine Savant and husband Kang of Kinder; brother, Weldon Louis Vail of Columbus, TX; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Annette Vail; and sister, Judy Darlene Milner.

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev. Joel Faulk and John Hoffpauir will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Prien Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
