

Bel - Leo Parker, 81, passed away February 3, 2012 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Bel and lived there all his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Topsy. He worked for Local 106 and owned and operated, rented and sold heavy equipment. He was awarded an honorary senator certificate. He was father to many and loved spending time with his family and friends and his big boy toys.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Nazie Parker of Bel; sons, Roddy Parker and wife Cindy of Bel; Ronny Parker and wife Lynette of Bel; Randy Parker of Bel; Aubrey Guillory and wife Missy of Baytown. Tx.; Archie Guillory and wife Donna of Houston, Tx.; Mike Guillory of Sulphur; Linus Guillory and wife Cathy of West Virginia; daughters, Roxanne Frazier and husband Billy of Topsy; Renee' Cathy and husband Donnie of Kennfrick, Tx.; Rachelle Dunn and husband Billy of Lake Charles; Connie Benard of Moss Bluff; sisters, Joyce Forrester and husband Wayne of Moss Bluff; Betty Fluery of Chloe; 23 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and the loves of his life Hayden Doucet and Logan Parker, his cousin and special friend Lloyd "Freck" Holland. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Mae Bell Parker, brother, Clyde Parker, brother in law Ed Fluery, granddaughter, Misty Lynn Guillory and mother in law, Melanie Spell.
His service will be Monday, February 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev. Lloyd Carroll and Rev. James Messer will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume Monday from 8:00 a.m. until service. Burial will follow in Creel Cemetery.
