Lynn Webre Marler

Lynn was born on March 24, 1927 in New Orleans to Philip Webre and Linda Matirne Webre. She was a longtime and devoted member of St. Pius X Catholic Church who was a member of the Thereasians and Ladies Auxillary at St. Pius X. Lynn was compassionate about her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, and loved getting together with all of them on the Holidays, especially Christmas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Derrille E. Marler, Sr., son, Kerry Francis Marler, and parents, Philip and Linda Webre.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are son, R. Philip Marler, M.D. and wife, Joan of Gainesville, GA; son Derrille E. Marler, Jr. and wife, Amber of Gainesville, GA; son William Walter Marler and wife, Wendi of Diamond Head, MS; daughter, Linda Catherine Breath and husband, David of the Woodlands, TX; daughter, Derrilyn Marler Brisson and husband, Clyde of Ragley; sister, Mary Philip Richardson of TX; sister, Martha Guillory of Ragley; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Reverend Timothy Goodly will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Gross Tete, LA. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
