Madeline Rougeau

She was born January 13, 1924 in Rayne, LA. She married Anthony Rougeau on November 3, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1999. Her parents, three brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her three children, Randall Rougeau and his wife Carrie, Karen Rougeau Fusilier and James Fusilier and Dr. Robin Rougeau and her husband Malcolm Martin all of Lake Charles, two grandchildren, Jason Fusilier and his wife Denise and Kristie Evans and her husband Sam, four great-grandchildren, Madison Evans, Matthew Evans, Emily Fusilier and Alec Fusilier.

Madeline worked as a secretary for several years with Continental Oil before she left work to raise her family. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Lake Charles.

A Rosary will be held at 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Monday, October 19, 2015 all at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Lake Charles. Burial will follow the service at Consulata Catholic Cemetery. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles is in charge of arrangements.
