Margaret Brun Routt

She is survived by her children, Don Routt (Sharon), Debbie Moore (KO), Douglas Routt (Debbie), and Joseph Routt (Cindy); seventeen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and along with many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry L. Routt; son, Paul Routt; grandchildren, Christopher Routt and Ashley Routt; and siblings, Elizabeth Brun Denzer, Manuel Brun, Jr., Beatrice Brun Canno, and Joseph Brun.

Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, reading and cooking. She was active in her children's boy scout and girl scout troops.

She was very active in her church and taught catechism at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Hixson Funeral Home-Westlake on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of services at 2:00 PM. She will then be laid to rest at Westlake Memorial Cemetery.
