Margery Mary Bernard

She was born May 27, 1923 in New Orleans, LA to Benoit Olivier and Bertha LaFrance Olivier.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband; Aloysius Bernard, one son; Aaron Anthony Bernard, one daughter; Charlotte Heard, two brothers; Benoit Oliver and Alvin Olivier, one sister; Hazel Forstall.

Those left to cherish her memories are two sons; Roger A. Bernard and wife Peggy of New Orleans, LA and Aloysius “AL” Bernard III of New Orleans, LA., four daughters; Karen B. Webster of Birmingham, AL, TrenaAnn B. Burks of Lake Charles, LA, Joshlyn B. Robinson and husband Thomas of Calera, AL, and Stephanie B. Knight of Lake Charles, LA., along with twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will commence on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Sharon Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 1230 Belden Street, Lake Charles. The Christian Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Lenworth Sealey as officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery at 6325 Common Street, Lake Charles, LA 70607.
