

She was born in Creole and lived there, until Hurricane Rita and relocated to Grand Lake. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She retired from South Cameron Hospital as a supervisor of housekeeping. She was also a member of Farm Bureau. She enjoyed fishing, shrimping, trapping and cooking for family and friends, helped the sick and encouraged her family and her friends to go to church. She loved her family especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Blaine Conner and wife, Angelia of Grand Lake; daughters, Pam Bridges and husband, Buddy of Creole; Cindy LaBove and husband Frederick of Grand Lake; longtime companion, Sanders Miller; brothers, T John Boudreaux and wife Margaret of Iowa; Paul Boudreaux of Creole; and Joseph Boudreaux and wife Dolores of Indian Village; sister, Ethel Hebert and companion, Edward Peterson of Grand Lake; grandchildren, Carlin Bertrand, Chad and Casey Bridges, Dylan, Alicia LaBove and Maeleigh Conner and 14 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eulice and Eunice Boudreaux, husband, Larry “Black-O” Conner, brother, John Whitney “T-Black” Boudreaux and infant brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am, Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Creole. Visitation will be Friday from 10am until 10pm with a rosary at 6pm and resume Saturday from 8am at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
