Marilyn Sue Hargrave

She is survived by her son, Mark Hargrave; daughter, Tammy Paul (David); brother, Daniel Kimbro (Vesta); sister, Carol Higgins (John); grandchildren, Lacey Verret (Cody), David Paul, Jr. (Britny), Amber Melton (Zach), Brice Gardiner, and Tommy Paul (Harlie); ten great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Kimbro and Michael Kimbro; great grandson, Gabriel Verret; and nephew, David Villanueva.

Sue was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved going to church and praising Jesus. She loved all animals but especially her dogs, Brownie, Princess, and Sissy.

She loved the color Purple and collecting lighthouses, unicorns, and angels. She also loved puzzles.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens immediately following funeral services.
