

She was born in Bell City and was a resident of Ragley. Mary was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, the Legion of Mary and the Altar Society. She was a Eucharistic Minister and a CCD teacher for 20 years. She loved to pray, cross stitch, watch movies, dining out and traveling. Mary was an excellent cook, and enjoyed cooking for her family.
Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, P.J. Habetz; sons, Mark Habetz and wife, Yessant, Kenny Habetz and wife, Trina and Donny Habetz and wife, Calina; daughter, Charlotte Ramsey and husband, Ronnie; sister, Elgine Chaisson; and grandchildren, Amanda Habetz, Jennifer Habetz, Kenneth Habetz, Danielle Cupka and husband, Ben, Bryant Habetz and wife, Becca, Annette Weaver and husband, Tyler, Ashley Habetz, Jessica Ramsey, Brooke Habetz, Emily Ramsey and Rachel Habetz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raoul and Lawrence Hebert; daughters, Annette Marie Habetz and Margaret Mary Habetz; and brothers, Alvin Hebert and Bobby Lee Hebert.
Her visitation will be on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 4pm-9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Her visitation will resume on Saturday from 10am until time of service at the church. Her service will be on Saturday at 11am at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh.
