Mary Ann was known for her loving, caregiving spirit and cared for her mother until her passing and worked for many years caring for others as a Private Duty Sitter. She was a true animal lover who found joy in rescuing animals and donated monthly to the ASPCA for many years. Mary Ann also enjoyed cooking and completing crossword puzzles. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Rougeau, a grandson, David Cole Rougeau, her parents, Wilford Wesley Emenhiser, Sr. and Vera Dailey Emenhiser.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lisa Rougeau; sons, Gerald Arceneaux and John Allen Arceneaux; grandchildren, Micah Anthony Arceneaux, David Wayne Blessitt, Ashley Lynn Foy, Stephanie LeAnn Foy; great-grandchildren, Jayde, Zoey, Lori, Makenzie, Emma, Colton, Maci, Maverick, Devanie, Alice, and Serenity; a great-great-granddaughter on the way, Violet Rose; sister, Ella Rae Whitehead; a brother, Wilford Wesley Emenhiser; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in the Chapel of Lilies at J.E. Hixson Funeral Home. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m on Friday in Fairview Cemetery in Winnie, TX.
