

Mr. Hebert was a native of Scott, LA and had lived in Moss Bluff since 1968. He was employed at Johnnie's Paint and Body Shop. He loved to do paint and body work, shrimping, cooking and enjoyed Cajun French music. Mr. Hebert was an active member of St. Theodore Catholic Church where he was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
His survivors include one son, Milton Hebert, Jr. and wife, Vanessa of Moss Bluff; eight daughters, Yvonne Ardoin and husband, Gilford of Moss Bluff, Cheryl Cornner of Westlake, Linda Hebert of Lake Charles, Kathy Myrick and husband, Raymond of Moss Bluff, Leona Roberts of Carencro, Cindy Guillory and husband, Greg of Walker, Patricia LeBlanc and husband, David of Moss Bluff and Rita Downs and husband Lester of Denmark, TN; two brothers, James Hebert and Steven Hebert; two sisters, Shirley Pilgrim and Marie Aucoin; 23 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Hebert and parents, Syriac Hebert, Sr. and Rita Trahan Hebert; one son, Claude Cornner; and three brothers, David Hebert, Chester Hebert and Syriac Hebert, Jr.
His celebration of life will be held Friday, October 18th from 4p.m. to 8p.m. with a rosary at 6:30p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles and will resume at St. Theodore Catholic Church on Saturday from 10a.m. until the time of service. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 1p.m. Saturday, October 19, in St. Theodore Catholic Church. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. A special thanks to High Hope Care Center where he had been a resident since 2008 and also to Brighton Bridge Hospice.
