

Norman was a life long resident of Cameron where he spent most of his life working as a commercial fisherman. After retiring he began selling watermelon where most of the community will remember him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Sophie Andrews and Carol (Van) Godette; grandkids, Lucretia (Tim) LaDay, Letero Andrews, Van Godette, Jr., Vanesha (Dwayne) Harrison, Alvin Harris; great grandkids, Jaylen Thomas, Ja'Mya Andrus, Eric LaDay, Brianna LaDay, Jalah Bordelon, Van Godette III, Ethan Harrison, Zoey Harrison, and Julian Lambert; great great grandkid, Rayan LaDay; nieces, Mary Ruth Davis, Jackie Fontenot, Rose Andrews, and Patricia Scott-Wilson; great niece, Agnes Pradia; nephews, James Lee (Cheryl) Savoy, Wilbert Fontenot, Jr., and Phillip Andrews; great nephew, Dan Pradia, Sr.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Norman Andrews, Jr., siblings, Sophie Savoy, Lula Andrews, Rose Fontenot, Mary Bargeman, Nelson Andrews, Allie Andrews, Willie Andrews, and Asa Andrews; niece, Gilda Bargeman; and nephews, Whitney Pradia and Nelson Andrews
Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Saturday, August 28, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be immediately following in Bargeman Cemetery in Cameron.
