Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" and Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe every tear from their eyes."
He was born to the late Morris Edwards, Jr and the late Helen Fobbs Edwards. He was born at Herman hospital in Houston but raised in Lake Charles. Patrick was the baby boy and 9th child born to Helen Edwards. Pat was a jovial, fun-loving guy and a wonderful brother. When he was younger, Pat worked as a butcher at Market Basket, Walmart and Park and Shop. He loved to cook and made sure all meals included potatoes which we teased him about often. He was a great cook and his neighbors got to enjoy his meals.
He is preceded in death by his siblings: David Fobbs and Ava Napoleon.
Those left to cherish his memories are 8 siblings: Michael Richard of Houston, Texas, Cindy Hudson (Brian) of lowa, Louisiana, Leslie Allen Jacobs of Houston, Texas, Mark Simien (Serita) of Houston, Texas, Pamela Lewis (James) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Sanderson Simien of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Helen Roberson (David) of San Antonio, Texas, Ellen Hightower of San Antonio, Texas, as well as his Aunt Jerry Hailes of Maryland, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will welcome the public for visitation at J. E. Hixson & Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of memorial service at 11:00 am.
