She enjoyed gardening and had a special love for animals. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Donald Willis and wife, Greta of Lake Charles; brother, Walt Morrow of Daly City, CA, Billy Ray Morrow of Carrolton, GA; 3 grandchildren, Timothy Willis, Samuel Willis, Rebecca Willis; 2 great grandchildren, Hunter Willis and Chloe Willis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Willis and brother, Ralph Morrow.
Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in Gulf Shores, Alabama at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Lagoon Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Dumas will officiate. Visitation will begin earlier that day at 1 p.m., at the church, and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow at Wallace Cemetery in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
