Theodore Roosevelt Carthan

Theodore Roosevelt Carthan, passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Gauthier Campus. Even though his life was short, he will be missed dearly by his loved ones.

He is survived by his loving mother, Miranda Carthan of Deridder; father, Shannon Shepherd and his mother, Shawn Shepherd; great grandmother, Loraine Shepherd, all of Westlake; two brothers, TiAndre' Watson and Maisen Tester, both of Deridder; grandparents, Brandi Colton and husband Marchean of Deridder; Lee Gertha Samuel of Deridder; Maceo Thomas of Deridder; Eddie and Terry Woods of New Orleans; and a host of family and friends.

Theodore is preceded in death by his grandmother, Vera Carthan Simmons.
