Theresa Ann Baronet

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Brian Baronet; sisters, Kathy Jane Fuselier and Janette Fuselier; brothers, Wallace Fuselier and wife Lisa, Donald Fuselier and wife Janet; children, Stephanie Vidrine and husband Brandon, Darrell Wallace Smith and Billy Ray Matte Jr; grandchildren, Miranda Fuselier and husband Kelly, Brodie Istre and fiance’ Chanda, Bracque Herbin and wife Janie, Mathew Myers, Sophie Smith, Amber Bertrand, Bailey Matte, Nicole Matte, Danica Matte and Jackson Vidrine; great grandchildren, Grayson, Laiklyn, Robert, Chloe Elizabeth, Mahreigh and Haisley; mother-in-law, Linda Baronet Kent; sister-in-law, Cindy Lohnes and husband James; brother-in-law, William Boyd Baronet and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Theresa is preceded in death by her mom, Hattie Moreau Freeman; dad, Wallace Fuselier; step-dad, John Freeman; father-in-laws, Nelson Baronet, Dale Kent, Floyd Stanley; grandchild, Cheyenne Hattie Smith; sisters, Helen Langley Arteberry, Ellen Langley Edigo and Ruth Langley.

Theresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She did not have an easy life, but always loved her family. She would help anyone she could. For the last two years she and husband Brian took on the monumental task of raising 3 grandchildren. Times were rough, but it was what they needed to do for the children’s sake. She always said “God will provide” and he did. On the morning of her last day here on earth she helped her sister with auto repairs. She was a happy person who left a lasting impression with whoever she met. Over the many years of working she made numerous good friends along the way. In her younger years she worked many jobs to raise her three children. In most recent years she worked in finance.

Visitation for Theresa will be on July 11, 2019 from 10am until 3pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Service will be held at 3pm. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
