William Louis Doss

William Louis Doss, age 68, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Bill was born on September 29, 1955 in Galveston, Texas to Martin Doss and Shirley Roach Doss which have preceded him in death.

Bill worked as General Contractor, Painter, Sheetrock Layer and Finisher. Bill loved fishing in his spare time.

Those left to cherish his memory are his fiance, Connie Hayes; children, William Doss, Sheree Doss Church; Leshanna Doss; step-children, Derrick Hayes, LaShonda VanSlyke, and Lisa Wilkins; three siblings, Sharon Reiland (Craig), David Michael Doss, and Brenda Murphy; 14 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in the Chapel of Peace at J.E. Hixson Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain, Michael Procella officiating. William will be laid to rest next to his mother, in Jordan Cemetery on Monday, February 12, 2024.
