William is the son of William G. Klehm of Austin, TX and Lee Klehm of San Diego, CA, was born August 28, 1989. As the 1st born son, he was the pride of his parent’s eye and brought immense joy to his older sister and younger brother through the years. His childhood years were full of mischief and mayhem. From putting cologne in his dad and sister's toothpaste for good breath to performing science experiments on anything he found around the house. It was never a dull moment with Gray around. He was a talented Artist and loved Science. His love of these subjects earned him many 1st place prizes in school competitions. He was very active in sports; he played competitive soccer, basketball and golf in high school. Outside of school Grayson loved all types of animals. He wrote a poem at a very young age about "a boy who loves animals...". He rescued birds, dogs, cats... you name it. His love of animals continued into adulthood and he was always seen with his beloved dog, Magnum. He was a gifted singer and guitarist. Music was a huge part of his life so he always had music playing. As a young man, after several accidents and suffering with constant pain, he struggled with addiction. The disease was a dark time in his life, but did not define him. During the last 18 months, he had been clean from the major drug that had caused him grief. His own feelings of happiness and promise were displayed through him maintaining a job and excellent grades from his college courses at Mira Costa College. Despite his struggles, Grayson had his mother's unwavering support. His father, brother and sister, also constant supporters of Grayson, were lifelong friends and allies, laughing and telling jokes one minute and arguing the next. But always loving each other. He was loved by many and never met a stranger. He truly cared about the environment and taking good care of it. He wanted to leave the earth in a better way than he found it. His memory lives on in those who love him and he will be greatly missed.
