Barbara Kay Rhoades

Barbara Kaye O'Neil McMillen Rhodes, Our beloved mother, grandmother, & great grandmother, passed away on February 15, 2013 at her home. Kaye was born October 18, 1932 in Woodbury MI. She lived her entire life in the Lake Odessa area and on Jordan Lake. Kaye was married to Garold (Pete) McMillen from 1950 to 1967. They had three boys together; Robin McMillen of Port Hadlock, WA, Kevin McMillen of Wacousta, MI, and Kerry(Theresa) McMillen of Clarksville, MI. In 1976 Kaye married Dale Rhoades of Saranac. Dale brought three children into their union. Chris(Art) Wasserman of Tucson, AZ, Larry(Jennifer) Rhoades of Ocean Springs, MS and Linda Saldate of Sahuarita, AZ. Together, Dale & Kaye have several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dale & Kaye loved spending time with their family and friends, along with traveling for many years all over the USA in their motor home with cats in tow. After Dale's passing in 2002, Kay became a bit of a homebody enjoying her cats and wild life in her back yard. She will be dearly missed by those she left behind, but is now reunited with Dale. A Celebration of Kaye's Life will be held at 1:00 pm August 17, 2013 at Bertha Brock Park, Ionia MI.
