Bertha Alicia Peak

Bertha Alicia Peak, age 73, passed away Friday, August 31, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Amparol (Dominguez) Hernandez; her grandparents, Felix and Brigida (Flota) Dominguez all of Sabinas Coahulla, Mexico. Bertha will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years, Michael Peak; her children, San Juanita (Robert) Lira, Florencio (Melinda) Torres, Jr., Guadalupe Torres, Esther Vasquez (Mark Horstman), Raquel Torres (Reyes Aguuilen); her 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; siblings, Rebecca and "Roberto" Guerrero, Daniel and Consuelo Hernandez, Juan and Dordo Hernandez, Jorge Hernandez, Julien Hernandez, Florencio and "Bertha" Hernandez; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Tuesday, September 4, at Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa, 935 Fourth Avenue. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday at Koops Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery. In honor of Bertha, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
