Bonnie L. Stambaugh

Bonita L. "Bonnie" Stambaugh, age 77, of Lake Odessa, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at the Eaton County Medical Care Facility in Charlotte. She was born July 7, 1933 in Lake Odessa to Arvin Harold and Emma Maxine (Rathbun) McLeod. Bonnie graduated from Lake Odessa High School and married Lyle Stambaugh on December 28, 1952. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Connie and 2 brothers, Maurice and Dallas. Surviving is her husband of 58 years, Lyle Stambaugh; daughter, Darlene (Randy) Parsons; son, Kevin (Karyn) Stambaugh; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Lee) Dexter; brother, Paul (Becky) McLeod; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation with the family will be held from 2 – 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2011, followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. at the Koops Funeral Chapel – Lake Odessa. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park.
