Carol Ann Enz

Carol Ann Enz, age 72, of Lake Odessa went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born March 14, 1941 to James and Vivian (Kinsman) Hogan in Ionia, MI. She was a graduate of Woodland High school. In 1960 she married Whitey Enz and he preceded her in death in 2011. Carol was a longtime area Beautician, having worked at Shear Shop and Marguerites until opening Carol's Hair Care in Lake Odessa finishing her career out at her home. She loved creating stained glass, riding horses, painting and helping Whitey on the farm. Christmas time with her family was always Carol's favorite time of year. She is survived by: Children Deb (Rod) Gregg, Jim (Sue) Enz and Mitzi (Jon) Krause, grandchildren Calla Smith, Jamie Enz, Payton Krause, Rhyeli Krause, great-grandchildren Makenzie Vasquez, Lukas Vasquez, brother Doug (Norma) Hogan. Preceding her in death are: Husband Whitey Enz, parents James and Vivian Hogan, grandson James Enz and sister Dawn Pelton. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Koops Funeral Chapel 935 4th Ave. Lake Odessa MI, 48849 from 12pm until time of service at 2pm. Interment will take place at Woodland Memorial Park at a later date.
