Carson "Kip" McMillen

He was born on August 12, 1932 to Garold and Mercedeth (Smith) McMillen in Akron, OH. Kip worked in Industrial Sales for Paul Automotive in Lansing. After his retirement Kip built an antique business at his home called McMillen & Wife Antiques.  He enjoyed RV camping with family and friends.  In his younger days, he was an avid fisherman.  He was a member of the Lakewood Area Choral Society and a former member of Temple Baptist Church in Ionia. 

Kip is survived by his spouse of 59 years Mary; son, Tim (Shirley) McMillen; daughter, Amy (Eldon) Lieb; two grandchildren, Kyle McMillen and Kelly McMillen; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Garold McMillen; mother, Mercedeth McMillen and brother, Pete McMillen 

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel on October 27, 2016 from 5pm until 8pm.  Cremation will take place and burial will be in the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery.
