

Daniel Flood, aged 34, of Lake Odessa, formerly of Lansing, passed away suddenly and was called Home on Sunday, April 19, 2009. Dan was born in Traverse City on January 26, 1975, and attended Lansing Eastern High School. He had been employed by Sunnyfresh for a number of years, and most recently had worked as an over the road truck driver for P.A.M. Trucking. Dan's hobbies included music, movie memorabilia, cooking, and video games. He was a Spartan fan to the end! Dan is survived by his loving wife, Dana; mother, Carolyn Flood; sister, Starr (Geordon) Portice; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glen and Maxine Dillon; in-laws, Glen (Gina) Dillon, Mary (Burl) Quick, Rob (Corena) Dillon; and Michael (Kecia) Dillon; nieces and nephews, Gessica, Kara "Troll", Britteny, Sarah, David and Courtney, Forest, and Dustin and Jesse; aunt, Cathy Alderman; and his aunt and godmother, Diane Ehert. Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Kay Ehert. Visitation will be held at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 23. The funeral service will be held at the Koops Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
