Edith M. Evans

Edith M. Evans, age 93, of Woodland passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Thornapple Manor in Hastings, MI. Edith was born on May 15, 1921 to Andrew and Rena (Sears) Cramer in Portland, MI. She worked for Hastings Area Schools as a Crossing Guard for 25 years retiring at the age of 74. Besides time with her family Edith enjoyed Bingo, pets and flowers. She leaves behind: daughters Sharon (Rick) Palmer, Julie (Cris) Male, Tannie (Jose) Rodriguez, 11 grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are: Parents, ex Husband Fred Landis, sons Kenneth Cramer and Gary Landis. A graveside service will be held at Woodland Memorial Park on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 1pm. Memorials to the family to help with expenses would be appreciated.
