Recently we packed lace curtains to take back to Michigan as they are not usable in the different rental we are in this year.  As I packed the ones given to us by our Canadian friend, I recalled the lovely afternoon spent with Fran as she cleverly added a rod pocket to the top of each curtain we would be using in the house we previously rented for five years here in Florida.  Sewing is a skill--Fran excelled and she loved helping me with the curtains just as she loved for all those years helping with the singers' costumes needing mending, shortening, lengthening, taking in, and letting out for the musicals at Lakewood High School.  Working with her is one of my fondest memories of my 12 years of musical production.

My deepest condolences to all that knew and loved Fran for her memory will live on through you.  Bless you all during this emotional time in hopes that you find peace and comfort knowing that Fran is with her creator singing with her fellow angels.  God Bless!!! 

To her family and the Lake Odessa, community, she was such a wonderful lady. The Fair was such a part of her and vice versa. She was adored by my family. She welcomed me and my first son,into this wonderful world. Sending the family, my sincerest condolences. RIP,Mrs.Morris. You may be gone - but will never be forgotten. 💓

So many memories:  LACS travels, 12 years of musical costumes "fixing," visits to us in Florida, clothing alterations for us both, lace curtain adaptations, sharing recipes, shopping, the trip to the VanGogh museum in Detroit, and visits to wherever she called home.    Do any of the photos show her not smiling?  That was Fran and one of the many reasons we loved her.

Fondly remembered when I started working at Pennock years ago. My sympathies to her family. What a beautiful smile she always had.

Fran and I enjoyed so many good times. We laughed a lot together. I am so thankful and honored that she was my very good friend. She was such a positive person. 

I’m so thankful to have known Fran even just a little bit. What a sweet,  kind , & talented lady She helped mend and do alterations to my wedding gown  in 2000.

Jewel and I were very sorry to read of Fran's death.  We enjoyed
her friendship through the church and as  neighbors.  She was a
very caring and friendly person.





Fran was such a beautiful, loving person!  She was one of my Nurse's when I gave birth to my Son in 1989, and she was awesome! ❤️

Fran was a beautiful woman inside and out.  I have many memories of working with her when I was at the Health Dept and she was an OB nurse.  She was so kind to everyone. And I know she was a friend of my mom's at Pennock.  I am picturing her smiling and singing in Heaven.  Hugs and prayers to all of your family as you go through this difficult time.


We're so sorry that we cannot be there to celebrate Fran's life with you.  She was a very special lady, which leaves even larger holes in the hearts of all who loved her.  What a blessing to be part of that group.   Suana, Steve, Beth, Mark, and families, know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Steve, Suana, Mark.  and Beth,

I have nothing but wonderful memories of your beautiful Mom! I remember babysitting you guys ( you boys were crazy🤣😂, while you girls were so sweet💕). Your mom was always so upbeat, kind and friendly. She always had a smile on her face. When I was a nurse at Pennock, Fran was ahead of nursing and hired me. She told me I’d be a wonderful nurse and hugged me at my interview. I will never forget that. She will be greatly missed, but I’m sure she walked through the gates of Heaven singing! My love to you all.❤️

So sorry to hear about Fran's passing. I always enjoyed talking & singing in LACS with her.  Fran & my mom (Linda Erb) were classmates & good friends (1953). They both worked at Pennock, sang in a quartet and with LACS.  Many wonderful memories and she will be greatly missed. You and your families are in my thoughts & prayers during this time.
